First off, the title of the song is wrong.
Secondly, WHAT is the deal with the lyrics in this song.
It's like this huge conspiracy thing.
There's a piece of lyrics missing out of EVERY single transcript of this song that I find.
"So he says did you know i'm your very best friend, I cant' repeat this over [...missing lyrics here...] eye rings on your pillow..."
I even sent a letter to HRC themselves and they replied with THIS exact copy of lyrics. If you listen to the song, it's ridiculously obvious that he's saying something. But I can't decipher it. I'm gonna have to somehow get to him in person and ask him.
I'm pretty sure it's "the worst has come and it'll never get better." And, instead of "I can't repeat this over" I think it's "why can't we think this over?" But yeah, I agree there is some kind of conspiracy going on about this song, I've never been able to find any information about it online, and it's my favorite of theirs.
This is song is one of my HRC favorites, and it's very close to me, especially right now. This song is clearly about someone who realizes that their best friend they cared about and looked up to screwing them over when things got bad.
