Frantic (Roman Polanski version) Lyrics
I remember the day it wouldn't last... anymore
you're too much of a lunatic, she said...
she was bored
well, one day I'll wake up
and see how my life's fucked up
but I guess until then I'll just pretend...
that you want me more
say something romantic, this feeling, I can't stand it
like the time she told you, you were void
I've given you credit
whatever chance I had I've blown
the status is over, so why can't I leave you alone
and you just don't miss me
I'm kinda frantic from the feeling that I get
when you're not there
I don't want to be a human trampoline... anymore
I'm not gonna let you jump all over me... honestly
I'm hoping you'll bounce back,
and save me from this heart attack
here I go again dying on the floor
I've given you credit
whatever chance I had I've blown
the status is over, so why can't I leave you alone
but you're just so crazy
I'm kinda frantic from the feeling that I get
when you're there
you're too much of a lunatic, she said...
she was bored
well, one day I'll wake up
and see how my life's fucked up
but I guess until then I'll just pretend...
that you want me more
like the time she told you, you were void
whatever chance I had I've blown
the status is over, so why can't I leave you alone
and you just don't miss me
when you're not there
I'm not gonna let you jump all over me... honestly
I'm hoping you'll bounce back,
and save me from this heart attack
here I go again dying on the floor
whatever chance I had I've blown
the status is over, so why can't I leave you alone
but you're just so crazy
when you're there

phew.....crazy!
I... LOVE this song
What does Roman Polanski have to do with it? Could this song somehow be related to the murder of Sharon Tate by Charles Manson? I doubt it. But eh, whatever. :] neeaatt song nonetheless.
No, this song has nothing to do with sharon tate.
The song is a reference to the movie Frantic, starring Harrison Ford and directed by Roman Polanski. If you do a search on google, you might find rumors of a "Harrison Ford version", but I've yet to actually hear it myself.
The singer feels trampled and ignored by this girl, but he can't ignore her, she's too hot, and when she isn't around, he feels frantic.
There is a "Harrison Ford" version; it's on the "Power Ballads" CD that came out in 2003. It's instrumental, though, so it's not really interesting.
