Comeback 1968 Lyrics

the kids still got it
the men all said
so they pulled those puppet strings
and look those hips
are back from the dead
theres nothing like the crack of
black black black
leather shirt
leather shoes
leather pants
leather noose
to send those kids back
to their feeding mothers arms
pleading for the jailhouse rock
to please just stop

May '68 was the name of the greatest strike ever, lasting two weeks and completely stopping the french economy in that small timeframe. The striker's/protestors hated consumerism/capitalist imperialism, felt they "as humans" were being tossed into the capitalist machine, reduced to complacent consumers. To really understand the '68 movement, read The Society of the Spectacle by Guy Debord.

Does there even have to be meaning in a song, i mean, music is something emotional, meaning is a thought.
