It's magic, she says to me
My hand to her waist as she approaches sweetly
It's enough when I see that look in her eyes
It's enough for me to paralyze

Whoa, I'm waiting for the breakdown
Nothing feels good being under the gun
Whoa, I'm waiting for the breakdown

It's tragic, she says to me
A song in the air, we're together floating
What I miss everyday since our goodbye
Was enough for me to realize

Whoa, I'm waiting for the breakdown
Well nothing feels good being under the gun
Whoa, I'm waiting for the breakdown
Is it ever gonna come?

Whoa, I'm waiting for the breakdown
Well nothing feels good being under the gun
Whoa, I'm waiting for the breakdown

So take care what you wish for
It may come true
But that September sky
How it whispered
I love you
But I couldn't take it
Any longer, no I couldn't stand
But the night brought sparks
and the sparks brought flames
And you had to be sure
this wasn't one of those games
But I'm gonna to show you
if you could just give me tonight
Tonight

It's fragile, she says to me
The hair in her eyes, she removes it smiling
There's a wound that I know this song could mend
A step in time for us will never end

Whoa, I'm waiting for the breakdown
Nothing feels good being under the gun
Whoa, I'm waiting for the breakdown
Is it ever gonna come?

Whoa, I'm waiting for the breakdown
Nothing feels good being under the gun
Whoa, I'm waiting for the breakdown

I'm waiting
For the breakdown
I'm waiting
For the comedown

I'm waiting (she says it's magic)
For the breakdown (I'm floating weightless)
I'm waiting (she says it's magic)
For the comedown (here comes the breakdown)

Good Lordddd this song is gorgeous. Mae is simply amazing, I am so jealous of their ability to write insanely awesome songs.

Jesse with the long hair....

Classic love story true to his western tx roots. One of my favorites as a story, but I think there are alot of songs that are amazing not even listed on this site. I guess I should figure out how to add them, because I have about 8 REK cd's.

Corpse I Fell In Love With
Gadjits, The
He reuses the verse melody from the previous album's "Dirty Little Religion", the topics of the verses are all over the place, and he packs too many words into one line (goes to show...) and too few in another (it's pretty hard to find), and rhymes "Henley Regatta" with "Persona non grata", but gets away with it all as only he could.

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.
