I cannot believe that no one has commented on this song yet! The lyrics don't really say much for deeper meanings but if you watch the movie "Closer" and there's this entrance scene with Clive Owen into a nightclub and all at once it makes sense with amazing clarity.
Yeah it's a good song. I've seen Closer but never noticed it in the film. I actually heard it on some hbo commercial montaging all their shows. Don't really know what to say about the meaning, I think it's pretty obvious.
I might be wrong here, but I guess I will try to "analyze" this song. I believe it is about a guy telling a girl that whenever she needs him, he will always be there for her. It does not matter what she tells him because he loves her or just wants to be there for her. She just needs someone there for her to comfort her.
That sounds good but I think there's something else. The rhythm of the song is so sultry and dark that I can't help but think he's not just telling her he'll be there for her. I think he's also saying he'll fulfill her every inner desires and fantasies. I think he's also telling her what she does to him in sacred love. I sense a lot of passion in this song.
