This is a parody of Michael Sembello's "Maniac" that the band used to play in the Eighties, when they used a drum machine instead of a real drummer. "Tenia" means "tapeworm", and that's precisely what the song is about. An unreleased alternate version exists, called "Nenia" ("dirge"), whose lyric focuses instead on the complex of Oedipus.
