Well, I don't know why we come here
Guess I just needed the bang
We walk in the beef, and then we pull on the rope
And then the, then the hammer comes down
Cables
So I guess they know
I'm not no company man
But I can pull on a rope, I can kill a cow
Fast as any other fucker can
Cables
Guess I just needed the bang
We walk in the beef, and then we pull on the rope
And then the, then the hammer comes down
I'm not no company man
But I can pull on a rope, I can kill a cow
Fast as any other fucker can

This is about some guys Albini knew in Montana who liked watching cows get slaughtered. (Vegans, stop reading now) They'd sneak into the abbotoir and watch the cows get cables drilled through their noses and then get dragged into the stall where the compression hammer would crush their skulls. These guys would watch it for hours on end like it was a movie. So another song about warped life in small towns.
@shadowwiththeeyes You mean screwed up life.

I really do not understand how Steve Albini has not been proclaimed as God yet. Surely if more people heard this song, he would be...
Big man, kills a cow and feels good. What's wrong with that picture?
