1995 Lyrics
1995 is missing buses
It's walking 15 miles to see your love
It's knowing you're alive through all the fuzz
It's never coming down from going up
1995 is cutting classes
It's sitting over coffees talking indie treats
It's the mere sensation of being the first one that you see
When morning opens up the skies
You see me when daylight opens up your eyes
And though I'm happier now I always long somehow
Back to 1995
All my friends have different plans to make their lives worth
while
Some for the better
Some for worse
Some have gone to different cities searching every mile
For missing pieces that will make a whole
1995 seems like a long way to go
If you ever were to find your way back home
But the only thing I really miss is being the first one that
you see
When morning opens up the skies
You see me when daylight opens up your eyes
It's walking 15 miles to see your love
It's knowing you're alive through all the fuzz
It's never coming down from going up
It's sitting over coffees talking indie treats
It's the mere sensation of being the first one that you see
When morning opens up the skies
You see me when daylight opens up your eyes

I so can relate to these lines. Somehow, you always long for the past (or at least some moments of it) even though you like your present life better.
great lyrics! that part is my favoritea as well.
really beautiful
I think everyone can relate to this song in one way or another.
My final day of high school is in 2 weeks or so, and i cant help feeling that later in life i will want to go back to this moment, a time when life wasn't simple, for sure, but for some reason i will miss it.
You are graduating early then?
Trust me, you will miss it.
i was 5 years old in 1995 so i... etc. and i'm not happier than i was before.. i think.. but great song anyways
i thought it was fuss not fuzz
I was born in 1995.. this song seems so special to me, somehow I can really relate it to myself at the times of depression.
A great song about missing the good ol' days. I graduated from high school in 1995 sometimes I catch myself reminiscing about those times, certainly now that I listened to this song.
