Wise Blood Lyrics
There on the back wall
you could see pictures of three
who had braved the mighty sea,
with their chests of gold and greed
in the hope they would be free of tyranny.
Ain't that how it always ends?
These two started off as friends/enemies.
If you think you've been redeemed,
then I wouldn't want to be.
If you think you've been redeemed
then I wouldn't want to be.
If you think you've been redeemed.
you could see pictures of three
who had braved the mighty sea,
with their chests of gold and greed
in the hope they would be free of tyranny.
These two started off as friends/enemies.
then I wouldn't want to be.
If you think you've been redeemed
then I wouldn't want to be.
If you think you've been redeemed.

beeeautiful
The last part's an obvious reference to the book Wise Blood, but I'm not sure about the rest. Maybe I missed something in the story?
Hmm... Think that maybe it's a criticism about the glorification of people like Christopher Columbus?
