Sharada Lyrics

Once upon a time there was a girl
You really wouldn't call her typical
Had her own definition of cool
She lived in her own world
She had her own style her own rules
She played along like it was usual
Nobody really even knew her name
Her life was one big game

She got her head in the clouds
Sharada, Sharada
Don't know when she'll come down
Sharada, Sharada
She can't get to bed
Sharada, Sharada
She's got this song stuck in her head
(her head, her head, song stuck in her head)

Dreaming all day
That's all she did
Ever since she was a little kid
All the teacher's thought that she was slow
She was just dreaming about her show
And when they told her she's delirious
She didn't care
She's just oblivious
She likes to make everyone curious
One day she's gonna be famous

She got her head in the clouds
Sharada, Sharada
Don't know when she'll come down
Sharada, Sharada
She can't get to bed
Sharada, Sharada
She's got this song stuck in her head
(her head, her head, she's got this song stuck in her head)

She got her head in the clouds
Sharada, Sharada
Don't know when she'll come down
Sharada, Sharada
She can't get to bed
Sharada, Sharada
She's got this song stuck in her head
(her head, her head)

She got her head in the clouds
Sharada, Sharada
Don't know when she'll come down
Sharada, Sharada
She can't get to bed
Sharada, Sharada
She's got this song stuck in her head
(her head, her head, her head, her head, her head)

I love this song so much! It's about a girl (i think thats what 'sharada' is) whos different from everyone else and doesnt care about that fact. She's not afraid to be different and dreams about herself being big one day and doesn't let anyone crush those dreams. Brillant song!

In my opinion, the most beautiful Skye song to date.

It's an ode to daydreamers...those who dream big and don't let the pessimism of others drag them down.

I LOVE THIS SONG!!! It's like, when I feel down or whatever, it reminds me of what I want to be, and that the stuck up losers that make me feel all crappy, that I shouldn't care. I just love this song. =) xoxo Arynn

It seems like it's about her, thinking about being something she wants to be, which is totally awesome. You should be yourself, no matter what.

I love this song.

I swear, this was written for one of my friends. She's a daydreamer, always staring out windows and spacing off. She's a writer, too, and her stuff is incredible. There are some issues in her life, but they never get her down. She's always there with a smile for her friends, no matter how she actually feels. Her grades are pretty bad, but she's still smart. Just like in the song, she's off dreaming.

Prep with the soul of an emo, I call her, and I love her. She's gonna be somebody. This song is everything that she is. Whenever I listen to it, I can't help but think of her.

I swear, I heard this song and I thought it had been written for me. I'm a dreamer, and I spend the whole time just staring into space and saying a lot of things about, you know, the way the clouds move that makes loads of sense to me but other people just look at me like "waaah?" I feel like no one understands the real me, but, that's ok because I'm fine just dreaming on my own.

So, my name is Sharada, and I very closely fit the description in this song. Did she write this song about me? I'm totally having a "singing my life" moment, you're freaking me out . . .
