This could be about Peter recovering from the 'dead' which probably refers to his first stint in prison,and when he was originally booted out of the libs for robbing carls flat
I think that one is my favorite of Babyshambles. I like to listen to it in evenings fool of memories.

I gotta agree with SkateOrDie. It makes me memorise the good ol' time (wheter they were good nor they weren't doesn't really play a role)

for some odd reason it makes me think of pirates, but i guess pete is kinda like a modern day pirate.

i think it might be about him being a rent-boy. like, for example "try not to look to scummy if you want some money". it was just an idea i had. it may be many things. also: "Laugh if they try to be funny Because you need their money now". the "they" is probably his customers (who were men).

Yeh i agree with carl4pete i think parts of the song are about him being a rent-boy. Quite a desperate song, the places that drug addiction can lead to. "I keep it in reach, Keep it in the fridge" is about him hiding loads of money he stole of this guy in this fridge to set up a drug deal i think.
