Pony Up! Lyrics

You raise your eyes to mine like the sunrise
Your eyes move me like the nightfall
How can we claim that we know ourselves?
But you can know me

Is it "But you can know me..." or "But you can only..." ?

the steady drum beat in the beginning is like that moment she does look up at you. that movie magical moment before a kiss, all the intesapation before you lip lock. then when the guitar goes solo-madness, its like they are lost within themselves. MTB's lyrics are ingeniously disguised by their sound.
