Bury The Tooth of the Hydra and a Skeleton Army Will Arise Lyrics
There’s something eating me from inside out
Guess it doesn’t matter what I say
I cough up blood and words that I regret
So long your attention has gone away These high school words have lost their power
Their meaning bleeds right through this page
I state my case and you impale yourself
On points to you I wish I’d made
Let’s just pretend this never happened and then we’ll be on our way
Even with these scars I can’t remember Why we started anyway
Your blood it stains me like a trophy When I wear it I’m ashamed
Of what I was or what I am or every thing I could have been You want some proof?
Crack open my skull
Safe place where evil thoughts reside These underhanded gestures I make Do they help you sleep at night?
Guess it doesn’t matter what I say
I cough up blood and words that I regret
So long your attention has gone away These high school words have lost their power
Their meaning bleeds right through this page
I state my case and you impale yourself
On points to you I wish I’d made
Let’s just pretend this never happened and then we’ll be on our way
Even with these scars I can’t remember Why we started anyway
Your blood it stains me like a trophy When I wear it I’m ashamed
Of what I was or what I am or every thing I could have been You want some proof?
Safe place where evil thoughts reside These underhanded gestures I make Do they help you sleep at night?

Burn it down (x18)
Isn't it "Let me down", no "Burn it down"?
Looking at the song title and theme, I believe that it is a reference to the mythological character Medea. If you aren't familiar she was basically a woman who was forced to fall in love with the greek hero Jason by Aphrodite and when he rejected her in favor of another woman she went mad and murdered their children, burning the other woman alive.
I think this song is about an abusive relationship and potentially the singer's revenge. My evidence for this comes from A: the song title referencing the dragon's teeth, which were a tool that Medea gave to Jason and B: the final lines saying "burn it down" in the way that Medea burned her rival alive.
