I think that this is one of the most beautiful songs ever crafted. It's kind of a shame that Starflyer is relatively unknown outside of some christian music circles.
When I listen to this song, I'm reminded of those I've lost. Lost friends from long ago, those you loved, and those you haven't seen in far too long. We realize that we are only human, and sometimes those you love most can drift away... and you realize, you miss them... and that this is not a new thing.

i didn't know they were christian. i like your input on it, it's very true. the ending is incredible i think that's what makes the song, when the guitars really get going for the last two lines .. oh man.
