I agree with RedHeadedRay; it sounds like she's comforting a friend, rather than herself, and trying to downplay love. Such a beautiful song.

The song is about getting over someone. She is comforting a friend who has just broken up with someone, probably a male friend. There had been issues all through the relationship but he left them alone in hopes they would go away:

She is trying to put Love down to something that doesn't matter much so it doesn't feel like her friend has lost everything:

It's a very sweet song and her voice is so comforting and sincere.
