this song is about Tetsu choking his lover...I personally love this song, it is my favourite malice mizer song ever...and Tetsu is utterly perfect for Malice Mizer I think. His whaling sorrow...is tragic and filled with longing. it fits the music beautifully.

I translated this much of it. Lol, he says Corpse not corn or koi

My Sweet Corpse boku no naka no kono ai o omori ni shite kurai soko made shizunde ikou kore de mou kanojo ha hanerenai boku wa mou kanojo o hanasanai

anata no toiki o tameiki mo kono te de tometa kara

(My Sweet Corpse i put a weight around this love inside me ...let's sink to the dark bottom. with this she cant part from me anymore I will no longer be apart from her

because i stopped your breath with my own hand)

Everyone who says Tetsu sounds like a dying moose can go to hell.

His voice fits perfectly with this song. Like SakuDeath said, it's filled with sorrow and longing. It's also my favourite song of theirs.

The lyrics are chilling.

"The disadvantage to having killed is It's you that eventually goes mad"

I'll admit I always thought it was "My sweet girl" Because of the "Kanojo" in the Japanese lyrics, but that's probably just because of Tetsu's engrish, haha.

What!... no comments for this great song!

Well.... I guess I will be the first... and GREAT! is all I have to say about it... it just sounds cool... and someone needs to post a translation.

yeah, someone totally does.. i don't think i've ever seen a MM song translated.. Malice Mizer rocks! Long live Kami, even if it's in our memories..

I don't have a full translation, but I believe the general idea of the song is that it is being sung to someone the singer has just suffocated to death, so he would no longer have to be separated from them.

I'm not a big fan of this song or any other songs that Tetsu does because to me he sounds like a dying moose.

yes he does. His voice didn't fit the music

I think Tetsu sounds half decent in this song compared to some of the other songs he sings in like Seraph. Once you get past the dying moose this song is very nice.

The title "Baroque" was a style and movement that started around 1600 in Europe. It had its own art, architecture, literature, and some other things. The art was very Catholic (think Caravaggio). So just taking "Holy moment & Silent moment, Shine with Brilliant colors" and putting that with the title, ut sounds like they are singing about a painting or something similar. HOWEVER this doesn't mean the entire song is about that. I can only catch a few words in romaji (Japanese writen with Alphabet) like 'cold day', 'drunk', and 'sigh.' Anyway, that is all I can say. Maybe this will be helpful to somebody. =)
