General Commentokay, welllll first of all, i love this song. :)


secondly, i'm not sure if this is forsure what it means, but this is what it means to me-

[it seems like they've had "something" forever and he really just cannot remember what it was like before; he thought it would last forever, but the way things are now, he's forced to remember what it's like without her]

[everything's good between them for awhile, like, the "sun" is the goodness, but then a star comes along, and it's better? so she 'flies' away?]

[he doesn't want her to let go of this relationship]

[well, the 101 is a road in cali, and i'm thinking whenever you hear a siren on that road, it's pretty loud? and pretty common, or somethinggg? i donno. but basically. their song just keeps showing up, and it's sad.]

[self explanatory. she breaks up with him. he feels it's much too early.]

[he misses her, he wants her to miss him just as much.]

[they "breakthrough" their problems, and get back together]

["turn up our song" is basically likeeee. he can't get over her; and even though he wants her to move on, so he can too, he knows he'll never forget, and he doesn't want her to either, regardless of the pain.]
