Brother Lyrics
I find my brother in there
Deep in my heart
I find my brother in there
Hold in my arms
I love you
And if I seem too quiet now
There are no words
To tell you how
I love you
I often feel
Like the prodigal son
Take all I need
Giving back none
Our beauty shows
In such different ways
You're like the light behind the fog
So bright
But still you burn my eyes away
I find my brother in there
Deep in my heart
I find my brother in there
Hold in my arms
I love you
And if I seem too quiet now
There are no words
To tell you how
I love you
So much has changed
And so much has happened these years
But still I find that you
Are waiting here
We have a bond
That nothing can change
And still I find
A peace of mind
Whenever I hear your name
I find my brother in there
Deep in my heart
I find my brother in there
Hold in my arms
I love you
And if I seem too quiet now
There are no words
To tell you how
I love you
Deep in my heart
I find my brother in there
Hold in my arms
I love you
And if I seem too quiet now
There are no words
To tell you how
I love you
Like the prodigal son
Take all I need
Giving back none
Our beauty shows
In such different ways
You're like the light behind the fog
So bright
But still you burn my eyes away
Deep in my heart
I find my brother in there
Hold in my arms
I love you
And if I seem too quiet now
There are no words
To tell you how
I love you
And so much has happened these years
But still I find that you
Are waiting here
We have a bond
That nothing can change
And still I find
A peace of mind
Whenever I hear your name
Deep in my heart
I find my brother in there
Hold in my arms
I love you
And if I seem too quiet now
There are no words
To tell you how
I love you

Gorgeous! also on the OST of "So I Married An Ax Murderer"
On "Welcome Home: Live at the Arlington Theatre, Santa Barbara, 1992" Glen says this song is about his own brother. It's at the end of The Nightingale Song's track:
"I don't think I ever used the term 'I love you' in a song until I wrote about a man. This is about my brother because I love my brother. So there you go."
So, there you go.
This song always makes me want to call my brother and tell him I'm proud of him.
On the "Welcome Home: Live at the Arlington Theatre" cd, it should be noted that instead of "So Bright" he says "So Soft".
It's kinda hard to figure out, but it defnlee helps to sing it right when you sing along in your car... uhm.. right?
[insert bashful smiley here]
Yeah, we all do it.
Yeah, we all do it.
I love this song. I'm doing an InuYasha/Sesshoumaru AMV of it. I think it's about when brothers see past the sibling rivalry and admit that they adore eachother. I sing it to my bro when he's mad at me. :)
well im not sure i like this song so much anymore i only found the lyrics today and my heart broke because he doesnt say i found my brother in bed like ive thought since the day the album was released
