This song is one of those obvious songs about a guy who loves a girl but she won't really get with him.
I personally think the lyrics and the music go together. Also, I think James' voice has been better. I don't really like this song much at all.
I don't see why you got a minus because you're pretty much spot on. He wants whoever he's talking about, he wants her to see that but he's decided to say goodbye. It's best that way he figures.
