I really think this song is about a T-shirt she really likes, and obviously misses. Maybe that's how I relate it to my life: T-shirts come and go, but when you find one you love, it's hard to replace. Damn.

this is the standout track on 'sonic nurse' for me...kim gordon's whispery voice is melancholic yet soothing. lots of emotion behind the vocals...haunting lyrics, beautiful song

it is eerie and alley in the night, wet streets but warm you are safe in your lover's jacket.

kim's voice sounds fantastic here. i saw sy live last year and i went completely crazy when they played ilygb. after the concert, it became one of my favorite songs... i can't stop listening to it.

after the first listen...i was rivited...this song represents confusion and longing to me. the short sentences and clear imagry (for SY) portray the emotion of the song perfectly. this is certainly one of my all time favorites

I relate to this so well- to me it's about knowing that one day you'll have to leave, even coming to terms with that- but definitly not wanting to go. "Is it time to go/ its a place I know", finally expressing the loneliness and despair that seems evident. "I love you, don't know what to do." Feels so helpless, so hurt. Reminds me that I never want to leave the girl I love.

this song is the rad-est. and kim is perfect for it, i agree that last verse is fantastic

gosh i adore this song. it speaks to me of contemplating leaving the relationship, like what TBeasley said. this person is confused about how they feel. although they do love and miss this person, they are not fully enthralled in the relationship ("i can't feel the thrill.")

the lines in the last verse ("i don't glitter like the stars above, i don't glow like neon alone") could be translated in two ways - they represent this person's insecurities, or the lack of emotion/enthusiasm they have re the relationship. either way, they are reasons for this person to not continue the relationship. it's about not knowing what do to. beautiful..
