With a gun to your head,
you still wouldn't change the way you are.
And I can see your callous dreams
are the reason for your greed.
They are all the same - always
dying to attain success and wealthiness behind closed doors.
We all
are fighting so hard to make you see
that we all
want more than your superficial dreams.
We are
most mysterious creatures
to kill for what we believe.
We all want more.
So wrap your arms around me tight.
I know it's hard for you to hear,
but failure is just a part of life.
It's harder than it seems.
Because if we were meant to fly,
why are wings so hard to come by?
So close the door (close the door).
We all
are fighting so hard to make you see
that we all
want more than your superficial dreams.
We are
most mysterious creatures
to kill for what we believe.
We all want more.
Left behind,
life is so unkind.
Why even try?
you still wouldn't change the way you are.
And I can see your callous dreams
are the reason for your greed.
They are all the same - always
dying to attain success and wealthiness behind closed doors.
are fighting so hard to make you see
that we all
want more than your superficial dreams.
We are
most mysterious creatures
to kill for what we believe.
We all want more.
I know it's hard for you to hear,
but failure is just a part of life.
It's harder than it seems.
Because if we were meant to fly,

So close the door (close the door).

"We are most mysterious creatures to kill for what we believe."
This line sticks out for me. The rest of the song seems to be aimed at big business - ravenous corporations and such. But this line seems to be more about religion. After all, big businesses don't rape the earth and leave people for dead because they believe in something - quite the opposite. So I'm assuming that this line is a stab at religion and all the damage that it causes.

Hmm. I think you're partially right. I believe that it's about the blind ambition of man to get what we want by any means necessary. We all want to make someone see something, and we are willing to kill to make that person believe.
