If you can't find better things to do
Than tell me stories about her that you think are true
I don't wanna hear anything about her that's bad
I don't wanna hear anything that makes me sad
I don't want to know (I don't want to know)
I don't want to know (I don't want to know)
I don't want to know; you'd better turn around & go
I don't want to know

I don't wanna listen; I'm not gonna hear you
I believe what I want, no matter what you do
(x3:)
I don't care, don't want another word of anything you say
I don't wanna hear anything; you just keep away
I don't want to know (I don't want to know)
I don't want to know (I don't want to know)
I don't want to know; you'd better turn around & go
I don't want to know

This was a Chris White home demo that never was released. It's a really good song. It's just about not wanting to have to worry during a relationship. He's saying if he can't have fun with her like he did at the start they should end it b/c they're not happy anymore.

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”
