Its basically about doing the same old things you do, and then one day you may not realise it, but ur bored of it already. That is why it doesnt intrigue you the way it used to.
Remember the first time you got REEEEAAAALLLLLYYYYYYY fucking baked.... no not first time u smoked bud, but the first time you smoked so much... like fuckin twackked off your face? Yeah. Try comparing it to when u toke now... that high back then was more like a psychedelic journey than the mellow out u get now.

wow Sublimedude1992, how about being even a tiny bit open minded. I know slightly's songs are usually pretty straight forward, but I also agree with Cbachmann in some way. at least its one way to interpret the song. clearly its about trying to get fucked up but nothing is working, but it could be viewed as a metaphor for not being able to shake a feeling with substances.
All that aside, why even come on a site like this where the whole idea is to discuss one anothers interpretations of songs, just to rudely and stubbornly say that it only means what the lyrics explicitly state. we could all figure out that much on our own, we come here to see what more there could be to it. try opening your mind up to new ideas. its nice.
