Actually, this is my favourite song among all. The Dark Night of the Soul is a translation of the Spanish Poem "Noche Oscura del Alma" and my classmates and I had to analyze it in Language Class, I'm Chilean by the way. It talks about the Mystic Love, makes a deep and beautiful reflection of the union of your Soul with God in the three characteristic steps of Mystic Love: Purificative, Iluminative and Unitive. I just love it, because it can be interpreted as a love story of two people at any time. Thanks Loreena for the best song of my entire life!
