this song, in the literal sense, is about the day his child was born and how he felt rushing his wife to the hospital. "Rollin' down the highway. Like a rocket..." And in one more mile, they'll be at the hospital and she will be fine. It's a mix of wanting to reassure his wife and being so focused on that everything else fades...hence the repetitive words...

this is a f'n tight track, one of the most chill songs i've placed in a while
I first heard this song on One Tree Hill, and it was from that scene when they were all dancing. It just sounded so gound, i would dance to this song, it is chill, but it could make you feel better if you dance to it. i really want to get his cd, i hear its awesome and chill.
I think the song is about hope. Something we all need. I like the little guitar solo thingy too.

Citizen Copes symplistic and repetative lyrics are amazing. I loved his music since i heard "salvation" its good to see other people appreciate good music!
i believe the last line is "you'll get your child" not "you'll get your shot". anyway it's obviously about his wife in labor in the back of his car, at least on a literal level. and oprah tits is really funny.
