You're a Woman, I'm a Machine Lyrics
Take what you want
My head is full
Take what you need
My price is good
You want it all
I've seen it once
I've seen it all
Now that its over this weight is off my shoulder
Now that its over I love you more and more
I know that you
Would take my hand
If I were to
Give you the chance
You want it all
Just like you should
Our thoughts are pure
Our thoughts are good
Be what you want
You'll have it all
I've seen it once
I've seen it all
My head is full
Take what you need
My price is good
You want it all
I've seen it once
I've seen it all
Now that its over I love you more and more
Would take my hand
If I were to
Give you the chance
You want it all
Just like you should
Our thoughts are pure
Our thoughts are good
Be what you want
You'll have it all
I've seen it once
I've seen it all

Well, could care less about the lyrics, when I hear that bass line breakdown at 2 minutes I just cream my pants royally.
Maybe about prostitution?
" Take what you want My head is full Take what you need My price is good You want it all I've seen it once I've seen it all "
This is a lover whose been around the block beofre and doesn't give a shit anymore.
"Now that its over this weight is off my shoulder Now that its over I love you more and more "
Maybe this is a 'customer' who he's falle nin love with? He's glad he doesn't have to try to impress her anymore and can finally allow himself to actually love another.
"I know that you Would take my hand If I were to Give you the chance "
He knows she wants marrige, but that doesn't come easy for those in his line of work.
"You want it all Just like you should Our thoughts are pure Our thoughts are good Be what you want You'll have it all "
This girl wants the full package: marriage, kids... And he understands that that's exactly how she should feel, and he's thinking about retiring and giving her what she wants.
This song is almost definitely just about sex, but the prostitute perspective gives it a storyline that it would otherwise lack.
This would also explain the title, "You're a Woman, I'm a Machine" ="You Need Love, All I Have To Give Is My Body, My Sex"
This about getting some with your ex after you broke up.
best title ever.
Personally I hear:
"Take what you want My head is full Take what you need My price is good You want t all Just like you should My thoughts are pure Just like they should Do what you want You want it all I've seen it once I've seen it all
Now that it's over just wipe this off my shoulder now that it's over just wipe this off my shoulder Now that it's over I love you more and more Now that it's over I love you more and more
I know that you Would take my hand If I were to Give you the chance You want it all Just like you should My thoughts are pure My thoughts are good Be what you want You have it all We've seen it once We've seen it all
Now that it's over just wipe this off my shoulder Now that it's over I love you more and more"
Post if there's any corrections to be made :-)
This song is about Jesse and Seb's dedication creating music; specifically YAWIAM over all else. They put off their relationships in favor of working obsessively on the album, like "machines".
"Now that it's over, this weight is off my shoulder. Now that it's over, I love you more and more."
In other words: "Now that the album is finished, we have time again..."
max(well) is a genious
Fuck you break-up song, but the "you" in this case isn't his ex-partner, but rather life itself. The song recognizes how fundamentally broken it is to attempt to live a life as a figurative machine, but holds no hope that the narrator can do any differently (hence the push-pull between the addresser and the addressee).
I felt like this song is about what it is sometimes like for a man, in the relationship with the woman.
I sometimes feel as if, as a man, you really try anything you can to get a girl to like you and to, maybe have sex with her. Hence, the 'take what you want, my head is full'. and the you want it all, just like you should'. I means that you just want her to say what she wants, because... then you have more chance to get more into her comfort zone.
Also, the, now that it's over, just wipe it off my shoulders', I feel like that's about them finally having sex. And the, 'I love you more and more', it means that now do finally did it, he feels as if the mission is accomplished, and now he can start to love her.
The title also refers to this 'you're a woman, i'm a machine', it refers to that man sometimes need to act like 'machines', and show no emotion at all and have a big shield around their own problems, if they want to have a chance to get it on with a woman.
Hmmmm,, What do you guys think ?
