This song could be about the process of how dairy products are made. The discharge (the milk from the cows itself) is lactated by cows. I was looking up the meaning of offal and it basically means the process of eating an animal's organs which could just be referencing the cows organs and the milk. The fermented part even further adds to it as when you make cheese such as swiss cheese, you purposely mix in bacteria that eats part of the cheese, creating air pockets in the form of holes, these bacteria enhance the taste and sometimes can make it better for your stomach to digest. Honestly I don't like cheese very much but I always just thoguth this is what this song was about
