I agree that it's about ejaculation, but he's not talking about himself doing it. Perhaps he's referring to female ejaculation, given that he wants "to get her off" and when she's about to come, he pulls out and turns on the lights so he can see it happening (letting her spirit free). Hey, whatever does it for the guy.

Maybe I'm on the wrong track here, but I think it's just a song about the "pull out" method of birth control. I mean, if you look at it that way, "Let your spirit free" could be a shakepearian reference: In Hamlet, someone says to somebody "I'll raise a spirit in her circle." Or something like that.
