I'm sad to say I actually like this song, because of the melody, the lyrics are kinda bad, because I happen to think that cutting isn't something that should be glorified in any form, be it TV shows that feature it, or songs about it, it's just not cool.
I agree, I love the melody, however the lyrics, more than anything, are totally... boring. Uninspired, whatever you want to call it. I'm not totally sure it's gloryfing cutting, it could also be about how break-ups (In this case because the girl cheated on him) Is totally over-dramatised.
brett is a pretty good writer, i agree the subject of the lyrics arn't too..um positive but still a good song.
I agree w/you Bridgetcore, Brett is a good writer, I couldn't write lyrics half as well as he does, notice how I won't diss the lyrics themselves, just the subject matter.
I'd also like to add, Brett is offically the skinniest guy I've EVER met, skinnier even than my friend Andy (if you're into the NJ hardcore scene, he's the lead singer of A Chilling Silence), and that's saying something.
yeah brett is pretty damn skinny, tight pants arn't tight on him. he's a really nice guy too. i like brett's in-out in-out lyrics, and i love those songs, but i don't think he's had any shows with that side project in a while.
I have nothing against cutting but it hurts peoples' feelings when people do it. So yes, it can be bad. But this song rules!
i like this song, but i dont really like what its about...i agree with "ErinsEmoTears". No Hollywood Ending's songs are pretty much pointless--they say the same thing over and over again.
this song is about a guy who loves a girl (possibly girlfriend) , and something happens with his girlfriend and another guy. he finds out and now his life fucks up, the lyrics show how he feels.. and yeah the girl aint there to help coz she doesnt care and he does it to show how he feels, he loves her but hates her at the same time!
