Polly left on Christmas Eve
I will know as long as I live that it was all
You had in mind
She was turning Twenty-eight
And I always thought it's too late to tell you
I never cried
There were so many ways to hide
In the hours of waste
And I will be
More than it takes
To you
It was different time and place
How we used to sit on the fence and wait for her
Like a game
Polly knew but never said
The very little time that she had was easy
On that day
There was so many ways to hide
In the hours of waste
And I will be
More than it takes
To you
I will know as long as I live that it was all
You had in mind
She was turning Twenty-eight
And I always thought it's too late to tell you
I never cried
In the hours of waste
And I will be
More than it takes
To you
How we used to sit on the fence and wait for her
Like a game
Polly knew but never said
The very little time that she had was easy
On that day
In the hours of waste
And I will be
More than it takes
To you

keren ann has more talent that nirvana ever would
i agree with mulmo. the girls of keren ann have more talent in their pinky nail than kurt cobain had in his entire body.
talent is overrated
this girl polly died
Wooh wooh, no bashing Nirvana. Keren Ann rocks as does Nirvana.
Well...
What i got was, this girl's sister leaves home, Polly, and she was her father's favorite of the two (Or more?), and the girl knows no remorse for her leaving, becasue she knows that not only will her father never feel the same about her, but she'll always try to please him.
The only song called polly that ill listen to is by a band that starts with N and ends in irvana
