i think this song is about growing up in a way. As soon as you are introduced to sex the laughing and innocence of your childhood is gone.

It think it's about that, but more so that a lot of our childhood is robbed because of media influences dealing with sex overexposure.

I agree with the last two comments, this song seems to be about losing your innocence too early because of the way the world is.

Plus, Johnny Gourley of Portugal. The Man/Anatomy of a Ghost does backups on this song.
