Blessed To Be A Witness

I love this song...I was confused about Corcovado though, i think it is a statue somewhere...but not sure.

Corcovado is the name of the mountain which is home to a large statue of Christ in Rio. pretty self explanitory lyrics

This song is so wonderful, it almost makes me teary. "Only by the grace of God go I."

Ben has the power to make me want to be a better person. This song in particular, reminds me of the beauty of life, to appreciate it, and make the most of everyday and be good to others.. but its hard!

I think he is saying he is blessed to be part of Gods family, and he is a witness of the beauty which Corcovado is symbolic of.

This song is pretty self explanatory, though I don't think exclusively religious people will enjoy it. To me it's also about being blessed to be given this life, and to do the best you can.

It's such a haunting and beautiful song.

I cannot hear this song without singing along. It's just an automatic reaction anymore. No matter how down I get about life when I hear this song I start singing "I am blessed..." It really does amazing things for you when you take this approach to life. The last verse puts it all perfectly:
