I agree with what whatshername said. It amazes me too. It's sad more people don't take the time to really look at their lyrics. If people did, I can guarantee you they would have a massive amount of fans. (even more than they do now) I hope more people realize just how great hey are in the future. If not, I'm going to have to conform the damn world to love Green Day. Haha, okay, not that drastic.
Oh right, the song... well, seems like a love song to me. Like he's kind of saying, "forget the rest of this shit, all I need is you". Very sweet, yet twisted in The Network sort of way. :)
Geez, going back to what I said before (sorry I can't shut the hell up about this, but bear with me) but it's just so amazing how Billie can write in so many different ways and it'll still come out being great. He's so metaphorical and he'll make you think. God, PEOPLE NEED TO REALIZE HOW GREAT GREEN DAY IS! Ahem, okay, no more ranting. =]
