Wanting someone to die is like the worst feeling you can have for them, even more so if you want them to be so miserable they woudl kill themselves. I think only a love so deep can make a hate that deep.

Simple...there was a tough break-up, no one's really happy with it...i get the feeling that the song is sung by a guy (and i mean, you can clearly see just how he feels about her), but the line

...shows that she isnt happy with the breakup either?
Overall great song by a great band-these guys dont get near enough attention
I disagree with whats said above. I believe this is about 2 friends. One is deep in depression and leaning on the other. The first friend isn't able to help the other anymore.
i think that its going through a hateful break up, where one person did something to the other, whether it be cheating, or anything that just really pissed the other off... and i think that it shows a hateful break up with

I agree with OooLaLa. That's what it sounds like exactly. The first friend can't handle trying to keep the other friend alive and happy, too much pressure on them, and they snap.
