This is a fairly simple song, but what I got from it is that it's an endlessly reeling chain of emotions, and he doesn't know where it'll take him. I sort of catch a sense of confusion and naive surprise because someone hurt him unexpectedly and he's left there, bewildered.
He's saying, "this is the pain you brought to me, but you don't know it"
Sort of another ode to broken hearts, but this with a twisted take at it like "here we go again"

well obviously it is about dancing but emm a bit strange it reminds me of that bit of grease on the dancing contest when they split up and the bloke wins.
I think its about a woman leaving a man in a relationship, ''And you leave me here on my own'' as she doesnt love him anymore, ''And you can't feel anymore,'' but he still has feelings for her which he cannot control ''No i can't stop feeling'' or in other words he still loves her.
The new version on Tonight changes "My soul starts spinning again" to "The salt starts stinging again". I'm not sure which one I like better. I'm guessing the new version's is an allusion to rubbing salt in a wound.
