Great song. Can't tell what it's about, but I think it might be about a relationship that's transitioning between casual and serious. Are they just "effing around," or are they so close that she can't sleep without him. What next? It seems they're starting to communicate and come to the same point in the relationship. "Heads up, watch out..." there will be new challenges in the future.

I think you're right. The other Version would be to think it is about a Relationship with sex problems. "It's all about the sppon" says it a bit.
