i think this song is the most amazing and beautifully sung song ive ever heard its by far my favourite. i first heard it on nip/ tuck. its well hard to get hold of though. by the way the bands names spelt poloroid not polaroid.

Okay, so this song...

I heard it for the first time at the end of an episode of Nip/Tuck, a particularly intense and emotional Nip/Tuck, and I think I was stunned, because all I remember is sitting there with goosebumps and my mouth hanging slightly ajar.

As to what the song means, I believe the singer is talking about someone she loves, but loves(loved) someone else who perhaps used him, and he can't get over her. The singer is talking about his feelings for the other girl, and her feelings for him, that she'll wait for him until he realizes that she loves him more.

it's about a girl who is constantly trying to be like someone else, for they are so damn beautiful. along the way she is hiding who she really is behind this outer appearance and faking herself just for that glory.

I disagree about the one that you lost you know, and also not the trying to be like someone else. I think it's about a friend of a girl who has Anorexia. Telling her she's so damn beautiful and amazing, but she needs to you know, quit being a brick wall and let someone in. That's where the curtain analogy comes in, like her friend is just always hidden and isn't willing to admit it and get herself help. But the friend is supportive of her and will stand by her side until she "flys again"

i totaly agree with Ashley1096 I think song is definitly about the girl who wanna be like the other girl who is so skinny and beautiful and who has anorexija...and she wanna be like that too.... so the singer's trying to hepl her stop eating dosprderd!!
