hmmmm...i'm listening to this song for the first time. I heard a couple of other Chocolate USA songs, but I like this one a lot. It has a kind of old-school sound. If you took out Julian's vocals and replaced them with Robert Smith, it wouldn't sound out of place.

in my opinion, i think it would sound extremely out of place if you replaced julian's vocals with robert smith's, because robert smith's voice doesn't have the kindness of julian's. he is very earnest when he rhymes sad and mad, and it's very unpretentious and it is very warm. such a comforting and lovely song.
