It was about his then girlfriend who asked him, "if I lost a limb, would you still love me?". The song's a kind of reply to that. But in an interview Mike said that he's no longer with that woman so the last bit is a bit of an update to the whole thing...

Showing that all his feelings and how much she meant to him was nothing for her and she just went off and looked for 'someone better'/found 'somone better'.
Though he also says "There's gotta be something better than this" in the chorus which is a different bit really, so maybe I'm wrong. Oceansize rule though ! :D
I believe its about about figuring out that life isnt perfect, or god for that matter.
everyone seems to make some religous contact with Oceansizes songs.. and i can kinda see why! but i think the first person hit the nail on the head.. i love oceansize
I can't help but feel from the lyrics in the verses that this song is mostly an attack on self-centred socialites with whom he doesn't connect.
