LMAO....can't stop L(ing)MAO ! This is MY favorite song from grade 5 where I would annoy everyone in the class by singing it daily. (My 12th grade year it was Angel of the Morning...could make people squirm bright and early:). ANY....WAY... this song is so catchy. And it was sung during a time of innocence (compared to today after all the wars and political scandals and lapses in moral conduct, etc) and when love meant more (for most) than a pick up at a club or a screw with a boss. i dont know...like i feel in a sense that i can relate to this song. my brother is suppossed to be deployed to iraq here soon and even though the relationship is not the same as the one the song addresses, i know the feeling. when someone joins goes off to war, it not only effects them, but the people around them. on one hand, you want to be proud of that person for fighting for the country and whatnot, but on the other hand, its a realllllly scary thought that they are being put into that situiation. this song reminds me of the show army wives....
