wow i cant belive NOBODY's posted yet.. this band isnt popular but theyre awesome.. i first heard them on a show and looked them up online and ordered the cd.. if you like john mayer or artists liek that you should seriously look into them... and i lovee this song.. its written so well and it definately captures just how it feels to be with someone you really care about.. its one of my favorite songs <3

yeah, definitely an awesome song. i agree with the john mayer comparision, but if that turns you off instead of on, i actually think this is a more masculine alternative

i'm surprised there aren't more comments then the ones here. i just heard of FTA after watching laguna beach and i'm hooked. i think the lyrics are great and i love his voice. this song is pretty much self explanatory. but i think it's great tune :).

This song is simply about a person who got out of a rather confusing relationship. They're not sure what went wrong. They seemed to be damaged from it also. But soon enough he/she meets another person and they seem to be so much better with them. Their a bit scared to get back into a relationship, but everything feels so right, they can't help but wanna get involved. They tell their new 'partner' that no matter what, don't let me run away. Things are too good and it would be a mistake to get scared and leave.

yeah, i agree with y'all but i wanna add a little...

i think that since he hadn't had much luck in the past, he's trying to make sure this relationship doesn't go wrong... "so maybe" "or maybe"

but in the end all he has to do is just relax, live and love.
