Ivy is an amazing band this song is so nice I always listen this song walking in the street and find myself sing it loud

I have a correction...in the second line, I'm pretty sure that it's "Delicious with claws."

And also, I've decided this song's political. Politicians give us empty promises.

The second part is a young soldier speaking to her parents, and the kite represents her life. The soldier didn't realize exactly what she was getting into, and now she regrets it. "Maybe I'll get out of here one day."

Sad.

Keep in mind, this is a cover of a song by Nick Heyward. The lyrics were originally written and sung by a man.
