Personally, I love this song. It has so much energy and Robert Smith's vocals are brilliant.

it's like: HA! I"M DECEIVING YOU! mwaha! kind of childish and selfish but that's the point, isn't it?

I love this song. Just goes to show, The Cure could do punk as well as anyone. :P

I'll second the "Robert Smith's vocals are brilliant." remark - especially on "Stay with me, baby!". It makes me laugh every time.

Anyway, I think of this song as a sort of punk version of Play For Today. Anyone agree?

They didn't waste anytime moving away from the more "punk" sounds of The Easy Cure. IMO - just as good as their other songs and styles. You have to include such songs when appreciating the Cure for who they are and have been for the last 30+ years.
