WOW- caryn schaffer was the super groupie of the band "the mean reds" circa 1992 chicago, IL. how do I know.. I was the lead guitarist in that band. she also was the girlfriend and then wife of the lead singer courtney strother. No surprise this guy wrote about her cause she was a very friendly girl... in some cases too friendly ( damn if i could go back in time i'd f*ck her hard) mid twentys, rock and roll, drugs, and a music scene that rivaled seattle all adds up to her claim to fame; a schitzo writing a song about her. Caryn... where are you???
