this is my favorite tyler hilton song. it's like - you think things couldn't get any better and then they do - it's so refreshing from the usual "life couldn't get much worse - oh wait yes it just did"

i dont agree. i think the guy in the song is in love with this girl, and she likes him too, but cant be with him because of something. if anybody watches one tree hill, the whole haley/chris/nathan triangle i think perfectly explains the song. she isnt really content with her life, and he's saying "aren't you glad im here?" but she cant be, because she "cant say what she wants....ect" so she cant tell him, she's stuck in her "unspecial/ "perfect" life. sorry....i can be kind of a downer

And I do watch One Tree Hill but there was never anything between Chris and Haley. She didn't love or care for Chris in any way other than for his music. It was always Nathan.
I think this song is Great!! I first heard it onOne Tree Hill & i loved it I listen 2 it all the time
i must agree with a may. even though that comment is pretty old. the guy is saying that this girl just has so much perfection in her life, it follows her around everywhere. but she needs something else. and that's why he's there. he showed up to cure her boredom with her "perfect" life. it makes sense when you see the show. it doesn't necessarily have to be romantic. chris showed up because haley couldn't take the married life anymore. and if you remember, she did kiss him before they ran off together. they realized that there was no romantic connection in there but there was a spark in the beginning.
mkmooney91, couldnt have said it better myself! I know Haley didnt feel anything for him, but this song is like what you said. I think its about coming into someones "perfect" life and making it imperfect, but in a way making it better because youre that special something that they were missing. This is one of my favourites of his songs :)
