I think this song is about rehab.
i think it's about life... he hasnt written a single word in days... i can relate 'cause im a poet and when im really messed in my mind for a few days or a while and forget or dont have time 2 write it seems like a big deal... he wnats to die when he is old but there's a subliminal message within it... he is hurt and going through agony and shit and just wants to leave... he wnats to die but isnt being straight forward about it... usaully i write stuff like this while intoxicated

It's probably about rehab, but I doubt either of them have gone there. It's one of my personal favorite songs, especially the bass riff in the beginning.

This song really reminds me of Kurt Cobain. I could be mistaken, but I think they took away of his journals ("I've not written a single word in days") when he went to rehab. The "Please let me go, I wanna leave...felt so clean" is obvious - who wants to be in rehab?
I dunno, I could be reading too much into it.
