When you're away, I'm feeling empty
I lose my mind
But when you're around, I take for granted
Most of our time

Honey you say that I'm cold
And sometimes I'm out of control
Baby, you know how I am, at the end, you're always mine

I don't mean to when I hurt you
But I need you, I can show you
Just let me be when I'm crazy,
At the end you're still my only.
At the end (x3)

Right when you're gone, I really miss you
You got my heart.
When you come back, I just want to kiss you
And it tears you apart.
Honey do make me stay,
Believe me it's better this way.
Baby I'm true and I'm real.
I'm giving you all that I feel.

(Chorus x2)
Sweety, I'm trying my best,
To give you the most and the less.
Darling, I'm true and I'm real,
I'm giving you all that I feel.

(Chorus x2)

to me this song is about someone who is self destructive in relationships.. and they found love, and the same junk they did before to push the other one away, isn't feeling right to them.. they like having the butterflies and the feeling of going home to them and only them. i also feel this song is a "don't worry i go out with my friend and have fun. you're the one i'm coming home to."

Certainly a plea to a lover not to give up on her, as well as a reminder that she will always come back to him.

    My Opinion

My opinion of the meaning is this: The song is about a woman who takes for granted the time spent with someone she loves. She likes to go out & party. Have fun. And this hurts her partner. She is telling him that at the end of the night she is all his. That none of that other stuff matters. She knows she loves him b/c of how she feels about him when he has stepped away from her b/c of her behavior. She doesn't mean to hurt this person she loves. This is just who she is and she hopes that he will love her unconditionally and not hold it against her.

Wow... I've only listened to this song fully for the first time today. And I fully understand it. It's a message that's been there... kind of describing my situation with a certain girl whom I love...

I feel this song is about an abusive relationship. The person singing the song is the abuser pleading with their partner to come back because they love them so much. The abuser wants their partner to excuse their abusive behavior and take them back time after time....great song with a thought provoking meaning. The ends justify the means!

Personality clash. Her out of control behavior and may seem cold that seems to hurt him but she still loves him and he’s all that she’s got .

She’s like a child When he’s away she goes out of her mind . Little children do that when parents are not in sight. T Then everything is great when they see them.

She’s not grown up. She is a child in a woman . THats the feel I get.

Classic love story true to his western tx roots. One of my favorites as a story, but I think there are alot of songs that are amazing not even listed on this site. I guess I should figure out how to add them, because I have about 8 REK cd's.

Like a lot of the other comments are saying, I think this mainly about voyeurism. If the song was about his girlfriend, then why would he use the word spy. If you are a spy it means you shouldn't be caught, that is kind of the whole point, and if you are a voyeur, the whole point of the pleasure you get from it, is the fact that the other people don't know you are watching them. See a bit of a connection there?

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.
