Crippled Horses Lyrics

Push my fingers past her ear, watch them disappear into her brown hair. I wish the rest of me could go with them. Her bedroom is quiet, but my heart screams a horrifying sound, like a hundred crippled horses lying crumpled on the ground, begging for a rifle to come and put them down.

id like to think that i know what hes talking about when he says "push my fingers past her ear watch them disappear into her brown hair" cus i have like a thing with girls' hair and so hes saying that he wants to disappear with them, to just get lost with her hair. and that even tho her room is quiet that hes still very nervous about being there with her, and his heart is beating really really fast cus of it, but he wants his heart to stop beating so damn fast so he says "begging for a rifle to come and put them down". kinda reminds me of when i was alone with my gf in her room for the 1st time.

I like to imagine myself (while mashing to this amazing song) in some pretty brunette's bedroom. The weather is stormy but at that moment it's still. And she lives on a farm with many horses. And while were kissing her maniac father bursts in, hits her and drags me out to the horse barn and holds a rifle at my face. You decide the outcome, I never can. Overall, my favorite track on terrifyer

RAMS is the closest, in my opinion. The horses imagery is definitely metaphorical.
