This is a very good song, and i am almost certain that it has a strong biblical theme, he refers to alaster, who was the demon of silence or something similar, and when he refers to "the dozen to fall" i assume he refers to the 12 deciples of the last supper. By the festuring wounds in the saviour's (jesus) wrists, he refers to the nails in the saviours wrists upon crucifiction. The rest of the lyrics could very well have a similar theme but i cannot see an obvious link within them. Fucking mean song though...
