I guess its about being in a mindset that puts you into deep depression, and not having the strength to change your mind about...life is in general. Maybe he's searching or "dreaming" of someone to come along and change his mind...but noone does.

Still not sure if he's commiting suicide, or if he is then maybe he believes he will spend an eternity in toture for killing himself? or something along those lines.
